Roger Williams

Well the short paragraph that i choose is by Roger Williams:

"Twelfthly, lastly, true civility and Christianity may both flourish in a state or kingdom, not-withstanding the permission of divers and contrary consciences, either Jew or Gentile...
While i plead the cause of the truth and innocency against the bloody doctrine of persecution for cause of conscience, i judge it not unfit to give alarm to myself, and all men to prepare to be percecuted or hunted for cause of conscience".

What i think this means is that he feel politics and religion can work together in the same place and actually get along, without any conflicts. Also without any people, or outsiders interfering or questioning anything that would be going on, the person being Jewish or not.

Williams continues to say how he searches for the truth against the people who have done wrong and now, or back them, have a guilty conscience. He says how he isn't afraid but for the people that have done wrong and have a guilty conscience, they will be found and be given what they deserve.
